Unreasonable ?

Okay so I need some outside opinions. My sister in law asked for my daughter to come over to her house for a few hours. I said that was fine but I wanted my husband to come over as well. My sister in law has only seen our daughter maybe 3 times since she’s been born, our daughter has never been to her house or anything. So our daughter would be in an unfamiliar environment with people she hardly knows. I wanted my husband there for something familiar to her in case she became upset, he would know how to comfort her and calm her down. Well she blew up and called us pathetic and everything else. So am I just being an over protective mother or am I justified?

Edit: Thanks ladies! I was just feeling super weird about it all and just wanted to make sure I wasn’t overreacting. I just feel bad for my husband because none of his family really comes around or anything. His mom passed away a few years ago, his dad has always been stand offish and his siblings seem to only come around if they need something 🙄 I would love for his sister to have a relationship with our daughter however if she can’t respect me and my wishes then too bad 🤷🏻‍♀️. She went on to tell my husband last night that if she isn’t in our daughters life it’s my fault. Like I never said she couldn’t go over or spend time with her I just wanted my husband there too. Ugh I just don’t understand people. But again thank you ladies for letting me vent!
