Names too close?

I have a 12 year old daughter and her name is Lindsey. My bf really likes the name Lillian but I think Lily and Lindsey are too close. Am I being weird about it? I like the name, I just wanted them to sound more distinct.

I have friends with 3 girls.. two of them are Lillian (Lily) and Lindsay. It’s cute and definitely not too similar!

I love the name Lilliana (Lily for short). That’s what I wanted to name my daughter but with my dads passing I went with Michaela ( his name was Michael). BUT I don’t think they are too close, it works. Lindsay and Lillian it’s cute.

I don’t think they’re too close. But I do prefer Lillian over Lily anyways. Maybe you could name her Lillian and just call her lily :)
