Can the gender ultrasound places measure baby?

I'm getting a gender ultrasound from a company that specializes in determining gender. Would they also measure the baby and give an estimate of how far along I am?

You don’t know how far along you are? You gotta be at least 14 weeks to try and see gender. 
You haven’t been seen by an actual obgyn?

It depends on the facility. Sometimes these scans are performed by registered sonographers,  other times they are not and the employees are only trained in checking the gender.  I assume if you're far enough along to get a gender scan that you've already had your dates established with your OB though?

Gender only. They can’t tell you anything else.

From what I’ve been told the only way they will tell you is if the ultrasound is scheduled through your doctor. So if it’s just for the gender they most likely can’t/won’t tell you anything else. I had a 4D ultrasound at a business that just does 4Ds and she wouldn’t tell me any measurements or estimates because she said she wasn’t allowed to. Hope that helps a little. Lol 🤷🏻‍♀️

I went to the clinic where I have all my appointments to have my gender u/s (it was called an elective u/s, meaning I scheduled an extra one for non-medical reasons) and I asked if he was measuring well and the u/s tech they were just there to find the gender and give us a couple pictures

Nope the private gender place I went to in Arizona made me tell them where Im Going and who I’m seeing so they know I’m not going there as a place to get measurements because I haven’t seen a doctor and sometime make you show proof that you’ve been seen by a doctor and getting care for your pregnancy
