Cradle cap?

Does this look like cradle cap? It was flaky but I put some baby oil on then used a soft brush but it still looks like this.

That looks more like eczema/dermatitis than cradle cap. Try putting some baby aquaphor on it

Thanks everyone! I sent pics to his ped and she suggested hydrocortisone but didn’t say what she thought it was? He had cradle cap right after he was born but it looked different than this. It doesn’t seem to bother him, like he doesn’t mind me brushing the flakes and is not itching.

Eczema. Aquaphora or Aveeno Eczema baby cream are excellent. Coconut oil usually does the trick for cradle cap, but eczema sometimes needs a little extra help.

Looks like more than cradle cap. It looks like eczema. I have eczema and my break outs look like this. I would do aquaphor. When my LO head is dry I also use olive oil. Try to not exfoliate because it will make it spread.

My baby had something similar and it was a dermatitis (I think the same as cradle cap) but it spread to her forehead, around her eyes, ears and even neck and required a mild steroid cream. Would check with your doctor though.
