At my wedding shower we had a green shower. So no one wrapped anything. We had stickers to put peoples name on the gift or we taped the card to the item. We put everything on a table. We didn’t have to open anything and anyone who wanted to see what we received was able too.

I have this so bad, opening gifts in front of people makes me feel so anxious like what if I’m not reacting good enough, being too underwhelming or if I’m being too grateful they might think I don’t like it, all that stuff 😂 I feel you majorly on this!!

I hate opening gifts in front of people, I’d rather open it on my own time in my home instead of feeling forced to react to something that I probably wouldn’t react to at home but still like it lol.

A lot of people are doing a “display shower” where you either ask folks to bring gifts unwrapped or a family member unwraps the gifts upon arrival. Then they are displayed nicely with little tags saying who they are from. It’s your shower! Do what’s comfortable!

No, I get bad anxiety and don’t like people watching me I have a hard time controlling my facial expressions. That’s why I don’t have parties or get together I don’t like the attention.
