When to announce?

So I’m 10 weeks and 4 days- we have 2 huge family events this weekend we’re tempted to announce this Friday when I’m 11 weeks. I’ve had three great ultra sounds everything looks good. Should I just wait the 12 weeks? Or is it okay too post a little early? I’m a huge by the book person so I just can’t decide. My OB said totally up too me since I’ve had great ultra sounds.

We had family and friend parties like right after we found out haha we had to tell close friends and family cause i wasn’t drinking  I figured if something Happened close family and friends would help me

I'm 10+3 and we have told immediate family. Ive had a couple MC's so I was nervous but I also had 2 great US and the last one baby was all over the place just couldnt keep still so I decided I was comfortable with it. Honestly its pretty safe at this point, if you were to MC due to chromosomal abnormality it typically occurs in the 5-8 week period and your risk of MC goes lower every week. All up to you and what you are comfortable with. Also I dont know about your family gatherings but mine typically include alcohol and if you usually drink but are not then your family will probably figure it out anyway.

Told my immediate family at 5 weeks, told my in laws at 6 weeks only because they live far away and we had a vacation planned to visit, telling my long distance grandparents tomorrow after my first appointment. First appointment is at almost 10 weeks. And we'll probably publicly announce by 12 weeks. 
I told family and friends that I trusted to keep the secret and who I know would be an amazing support team if anything bad happened.
