No true period-1st month on Lo Loestrin Fe

So I just completed my first month of starting back on birth control (Lo Loestrin Fe). I’ve been spotting when my period should have came but it never really came. I just continued on taking the next pill pack. I decided to go back on birth control after being off it for almost 5 years or so plus we’ve had three consecutive miscarriages in the past year and a half. Just trying to let my body have a break and heal itself before doing more testing and trying again. Is this normal not having a period the first month of taking it?
