Monistat: Hurting or Helping?

Do you ladies think there should be more steps to buying Monistat?

I keep seeing situations where someone has a std but they want to believe it's yeast so they go get Monistat instead of getting tested.

I'll ask when the last time they were tested was and they'll say last year or even that they've never been tested 😱

So by more steps, I mean having to speak with someone like a pharmacist.

Woman A: goes in for Monistat, they do a quick questionnaire. She's up to date on her testing, uses protection and has had a yeast infection before so she's sure that's what it is this time. ✅✅✅ Woman A can complete her purchase.

Woman B: hasn't been tested in a year, doesn't use protection, hasn't had a yeast infection before she's hoping that's what it is even though her symptoms line up more with an std ❌❌❌ Woman B should be referred to a clinic with free or low cost testing

Do you ladies agree setting up something like this will lower the spread of STDs by people assuming they just have yeast infection
