I just need some advice on the best way to handle my issues with my husbands mother and sister. We’ve been together for 5 years, married two. Me and him have a great marriage and I love him more than anything but his mother and sister drive me crazy. It’s gotten to the point that I don’t even enjoy being around them. Both of them are the type to be very friendly in front of my husband but when he’s not around they’ll make snobby comments or “digs”. His sister has been jealous of mine and his relationship since we started dating in high school and his mother acted a certain way towards me whenever we moved out together at 17. Any time I’ve ever had an issue I will tell my husband first because I don’t want to cause drama with his family, but it’s got to the point where I feel like I’m gonna blow up if things continue the way they are. To make things worse any time I’ve ever brought anything up to my husband he always starts off with “I’m not defending them but..” and I just get frustrated and we end up fighting. I just don’t know if anyone else deals with this or if I’m just thinking too much into it
