Nursing / thrush

L 💕✨ • 🌈 💚 Momma to Nora 01.15.19 | Baby Brother coming 11.17.2022 🐻💙

Hi mamas! We are 8 months strong breastfeeding and my baby girl has her first (& hopefully only) case if thrush! We were both recently taking antibiotics so no surprise she developed thrush (oral and she has a diaper rash, poor baby!!). We started her on fluconazole today and she will take it for 4 more days.

So what are your tips for preventing a re-occurrence?? Clean all toys/pacifiers/bottle nipples of course. What else do you suggest? Should we also do probiotics? So far, I do not have any symptoms myself. What can I do to prevent it affecting me as well?
