Baby hasn’t moved a lot today ?

I’m 23 weeks exactly today and usually my baby boy is super active and moves almost all day. Even up to last night he was kicking and turning constantly. This morning I woke up and found it strange he didn’t do his usual morning kicks. As the day went on I tried eating sugary things, poking my belly a bit and trying to talk to him lol but nothing. I felt a small poke but not much. Is this normal or is it cause for concern. I’m a ftm so I freak out for everything 😞

also depends on how active you’ve been! babies are usually calmer/asleep when you’re moving around. i find that when i relax and lay down that my baby moves the most.

Normal! I just went to the hospital the other night for this and she was just way down in my pelvis. They hooked me up to the monitor and she was actually moving quite a bit, I just couldn’t feel them because of her position. The nurse told me that was extremely common around weeks 21-25

If you’re worried please go get checked. But baby is still really small and kick counts aren’t extremely important until 28 weeks

If you’re stressing yourself out alot, go out to the midwives and see if they can make sure he is okay. 
Baby is still really small at this stage though so he’s probably really active, you just can’t feel him. Exact same thing happened to me. 
But please go get checked if you’re worried.

try drinking orange juice! usually the sugar makes them active!!
