Any way to know whether baby is head down or not without an ultrasound?

I’m currently 30+3 and my midwife told me at my previous appointment that I won’t be needing anymore ultrasounds for the remainder of the pregnancy (unless baby is measuring too small or too large) which she said baby is the perfect size right now for my EDD. 
Anyways, my last pregnancy, I remember having an ultrasound at around 28w and the tech detected that my son was already head down that way. Since I won’t be having anymore ultrasounds this pregnancy, how will we know whether baby is in the correct position or not? Kinda freaks me out

Do you feel a good bit of pressure on your pelvis or cervix?? Babies tend to push down harder when they're head down so itll feel pretty "heavy" down stairs lol

When they check the babys heart rate they monitor is down low plus i feel my babys hiccups lower

Normally once the baby gets big enough you can tell just by feeling your bump. I can distinctly feel his butt and the curve of his back on one of my sides. I'm 34 weeks.

My son was head down at 28 weeks, and at 32 weeks he was butt down. Seeing my midwife tomorrow, so I'm curious to hear how is is now. She feel how he is laying, so I trust her. I have one last ultrasound at 36weeks, not because he is butt down, but they will check that too.

At my last appointment the doctor could tell just by pressing on the bottom & top of my stomach.

I know because I feel her hiccups really low. Plus my pelvis aches and I pee every 5 minutes.

Is your midwife able to feel baby’s position? I had an ultrasound at 28 weeks and baby was head down. At my 30 week appointment my OB felt with her hands and said she still feels head down, but it can be hard to tell when they’re little and they’ll know for sure in a few weeks. I know that she is still head down now at 31w because she’s been having hiccups most days and I can feel them very low and up to my belly button.

I think they can usually tell without an ultrasound. The heartbeat is found lower if baby is head down I believe. I feel hiccups really low, almost like they are in my butt lmao so that reassures me that mine is still head down.

Doctors can feel around the belly and usually tell that way. Also where do you feel most of your movement? My baby is head down and I feel most of the movement up top with some slight pressure movements down low.
