Should I save this for our one year anniversary ?

My boyfriend and I have been talking for almost 6 months and dating for 4. For his birthday, I’m thinking I should get photos of us printed and put it into a photo album, with extra space for pictures of us in the future. Should I save this idea for our 1 year anniversary or give it to him on his birthday? I’m also going to get him a few T-shirt’s, maybe some cologne, a card, a snack and candy basket, and a new sheets set.
