Homophobic mother

My friend is gay and I wanted her to come to my baby shower so i put her name on the list.. and she was going to make me my cake as that's what she does for a living this girl.

Anyways my mum doesn't want her to come.. Cause she is gay.. and said to me that people will start thinking I'm gay cause I hang out with her ( i am going to be a single mum as the dad isnt in the picture)

She started an argument with me and now im crying cause she is basically saying she doesn't need comments from people thinking I'm gay and me hanging around those sort of people is bad for my reputation .. thinks she is preying on me LOL even though we are the same age and its just friend talk .. but whatever.

So now I have to uninvite my friend as i think it would be very uncomfortable for her anyways now.. as the baby shower is at mums house.
