Teething or Purple Crying?

For the last 2 days my 2.5 month old has been extremely fussy compared to normal.

He's constantly sucking hard on his hands, has excessive drooling and is way more irritable. When he finally falls asleep he wakes up within 5-10 mins and starts screaming until he cries himself to sleep again but does this pattern 3-4 times before fully falling asleep and staying asleep.

Even after he has had a good feed and is full he shoves his fist in his mouth and starts to suck really hard on it (even after burping him)

Could this be teething or just purple crying?
