If you’re considering CIO, do it
Day 4 of “Cry it out” & my baby didn’t cry one single bit. If you’re at the end of your rope & considering doing it, absolutely go for it (if your pediatrician okays it & you think your baby is ready for it). The first night, my baby cried a total of 15-20 minutes (with check ins starting at 2 minutes, then 5) & slept 11 hours straight, the longest she’s ever slept. The second night, she cried less than 5 minutes. The third night- less than 1 minute. It has been completely life-changing for our baby & our family as a whole. I know this is a controversial topic, but please no negative comments. Our baby is happier than ever & my relationship is thriving with the extra sleep & time to relax at night. I’m so happy & proud of our baby & ourselves for not listening to the negativity surrounding this method. I completely recommend it if you feel it’s right for you.
Edit: Our baby is 4 months old & our pediatrician recommended it.
