Baby fever already???

Question

So I have a 7 month old. And I already want another baby. But my husband and I already said we wouldn’t try again until our son is potty trained. (Figured it would be easier) How do I get over wanting another baby so soon?
Keep in mind I love my son very much. I just love babies and children in general. My son is my first but I want 4 children in all.

I would just keep thinking about all the reasons you guys decided to wait a couple years to have another. Even though having kids close together is great for some, there are also so many benefits of waiting! It’ll give you more time to bond with your son one on one before adding another family member, once you do add another your son will be able to enjoy it more because he’ll have a better understanding of things than a baby would, he’ll be potty trained and a bit more independent, it’ll be easier for you guys because he’ll have a good routine by then if he doesn’t already, etc. I’m currently expecting my second and my daughter will be 3.5 when the baby is born. I’m so glad we waited until we did. She is so excited about the baby and it’s amazing to see her understanding everything! She will just randomly run around the house yelling “I’m so excited about the baby!” And she gets so excited about my doctors appointments and pretends to listen to the babies heartbeat. Everything we buy for the baby she gets excited about and wants to help fold the babies clothes, look at the bottles, etc. I also look forward to her being able to help with feeding the baby once they start solid food and stuff like that because she will be old enough to help and it will be a fun experience for her. It was hard to wait at times but we’re glad that we did!
