Labor near??

Today I am 39 weeks. I went to the doctor for my weekly appt. I peed and a blob of mucus yellowish discharge came out. I started having faint contractions. When I saw my OB I asked her to check my cervix as when I was 36 weeks I was only dilated a 1. She offered to do a membrane sweep and stretch. I agreed. She checked me I was still a 1 so she began to sweep and stretch me. Now I’m officially a 2 and she mentioned my cervix was very thin. Immediately after leaving I felt cramps. I walked a bit and then came home. As I peed and wiped I saw blood which I know is normal but it was mucus with blood. I took a shower and saw more of it. Now I’m laying down with slight back pain and stomach cramping. Will labor be near? Have anybody ever experienced a membrane sweep and stretching and went into labor soon after??
