Possibly pregnant but idk what to think

So I recently moved in with my boyfriend 2 months ago. We have been together since about April and having unprotected sex most of our relationship. I have had a period each month up until this one. My period is supposed to have started yesterday but it has not. I am cramping, feel nauseated, my breasts itch and I’m exhausted. I haven’t taken a test yet because I’m only one day late on my period. Would that be crazy to go ahead and take one or should I wait it out?
