Do labor contractions start as BH?

I'm just curious. FTM. I know there is a difference and I'll know when I'm having actual labor contractions but do they start as BH and get worse? I'm having more frequent BH throughout the day and they seem to be getting tighter and almost take my breath away.

Yea they can start that way so if your 37wks or more let them come if your earlier than that I would definitely try to rest more and drink more fluids

That’s how mine started. Frequent BH that got more painful over time.

I have had BH contractions since 20ish weeks, but it ramps up late third trimester. For my first, I had BH more frequently & stronger and then turned to menstrual cramps which was labor for me. I had my last son at 38.2 and I am 36 today and have started getting stronger BH. Thinking this one will be early too!

That's how mine started. I didn't realize it was labor until the pain got much worse a few hours later.
