boyfriend might want to break up because he thinks he’s toxic

hey y’all

so me and my boyfriend had a talk today and he was telling me how he realizes that he’s been a bit more snappy at me for little things (like when i want him to cuddle w/ me but he doesn’t feel like it ) and he doesn’t like it. he says that it’s toxic and if he continues to be that way that he might break up w/ me cuz i don’t deserve toxicity and he says it has nothing to do w/ me, and he says i’m amazing and he loves me, etc. he knows that i love him and he loves me too but i cried today cuz ion want us to break up (he said i’m still his gf and he said he’s gonna give it time and see if he changes but if not then it might have to be over for us) we’ve been together for a year and 2 months and this is the first loving relationship i’ve ever been in compared to my past and i’m afraid to lose him. he says nothing is wrong w/ me and, it’s just him. i so distraught. please help :(
