Baby shower advice

So, I need some advice ladies. I’m not sure if this will make 100% sense - I’m pregnant, tired, and emotional. But, here’s what’s up. My sweet MIL lives nearby and insisted that she be the one to throw the baby shower even though there were other people who offered. That would have been totally fine, but she seems to have bitten off more than she can chew. The shower date is two weeks away and not much has really been done to plan for it. I’m already 34 weeks along and I work full-time. Hubby and I just bought and moved into a house. So, you can imagine I’m dealing with some big-time burnout already. But, MIL wants to have the shower at our new house even though there’s not really good entertainment space inside, so I’m having to put a ton of effort into unpacking and cleaning in my limited spare time to figure out how to make that work. On top of that, somehow her throwing the shower means that I’m having to plan most of it? Like, the most initiative she’s taken with it is to tell me that I need to tell her when to get together to plan it, and telling me what I need to do to organize this. I am not a party planner and have never done something like this before in my life. I really don’t want to come across as ungrateful. But, I’m exhausted and stretched thin as it is - and this shower thing is really stressing me out! I’m not sure that I can handle it, and to be honest I’m kind of just reaching a point of wanting to call it off because it’s a lot to have on my plate right now. I’m sure I probably just need to talk to her about it, but I don’t even know where to start. I would really love for it to be planned and put together and not have to be very involved in it, but I’m realizing that I’m not sure she’s capable of doing that because of her age/health problems. Is it standard to offer to throw a shower for someone and then have them plan the whole thing or something? As far as I know, it’s not. But, I could be totally wrong. How do I handle this?
