IUD fears

I was on the depo shot for years until my doctor advised that I switch. I’ve had some major trouble with my Nexplanon implant in the way that it’s going to have to be removed. My doctor told me I will need surgery to get it out because my muscles have grown over it. I love the birthcontrol though. My period is very regular and I’ve had no crazy side effects that I’ve noticed. Plus, not worrying about it for three years is awesome. I’ve had people suggest an IUD next because I doubt I’ll risk trying the Nexplanon again but we’ll see. I’m such a baby about pain and I’ve heard it hurts. I’m also worried it would get pushed/pulled during sex because my SO thinks that playing wackamole with my cervix is fun for both of us. (It’s not. It hurts. I can’t imagine it feels good to bounce a penis off of something either so idk what that’s about.) But I’m actually worried he would mess it up. There’s a chance I’m completely wrong and feel free to tell me that.😂
