Crazy Nurse

So funny story, the nurse at my daughter’s dr office told me that if I get the flu while I’m pregnant, even this far along (34 week), it will most likely lead to a miscarriage and the baby will die! Wtf? She was saying how my husband and I really need to get our flu shots and she looked him in the face and said “how would you feel if you brought home the flu and she got it and your baby died?” I just kept looking at my husband like is she really saying this?! And this is after we signed for my daughter’s flu shot to be given today and we told her we are both going this week to get ours! It’s not like we said we are against the flu shot or something. Once they give us her immunization records and paperwork on Monday, we are running far away from this office (the RN is the Dr’s wife and they are both at least 75). YIKES.
