Is this because I got off Birth control??

So I stopped taking my birth control cold turkey February before last. I dropped 25 pounds with in the first couple months but then later I noticed my hair was thinned out and even the person who cuts my hair told me. It’s been a year and half and my hair still hasn’t returned to the way it used to be and I’ve been to doctors to see if it’s got anything to do with getting off the pill and the labs came back clean but I’m still not convinced its just a coincidence. Any thoughts?
