HELP ME...I wish I never wouldve gotten myself into this😔😔

I'm legit such a trash person right now😔 My "boyfriend" and I have known each other for four months (been dating for three).. all the sudden he started acting distant. Long story short he told me we rushed into things and he wanted us to be single and restart and become best friends so we can have a stronger relationship... at first I was all for this idea because I do agree that maybe we rushed into things and I wanna have a stronger friendship with him... butttt it's been a week and he's hung out with his friends every day and night, he never calls me anymore and when I call him he always has to go since he's with them, he doesnt try to make plans with me. So I told him I was gonna start talking to other guys until I saw more commitment and effort.

So to tinder I went to get my mind off of things and low and behold. I match w this guy and we hit it off. He texts me good morning every day, he asks to call me all the time.. even when he's with his friends. Tonight we talked on the phone for three and a half hours. He played a football game and he has to be at work in 3 hours AND he is still trying to hang out with me tomorrow bc "he doesnt care how tired he is, he wants to see me".

Background: my "boyfriend" admitted he's never chased me, his amount of effort has always been an issue, BUT I do love him and this is making me sick😔 I didnt expect to find someone like guy two.. I've told him that I dont want a relationship for a really long time and he knows that I talk to other guys and ive told him to continue to talk to other girls.

I want me and my boyfriend to work things out because I love him and he's the one I want to be with, I just wish he treated me like guy two is (granted I'm "new" to guy two I know)...I just dont know what to do😭
