C-section date set

I haven’t posted on here since ttc, but I just need to vent a little. I’m pregnant with twin boys after 6 years ttc. Yay! I went to my regular appointment and they noticed baby B is getting big faster than baby A. My dr said I would be able to deliver vaginally for baby A but possibly not baby B and scheduled me for a c-section November 1. I am completely fine with all this as long as the babies are safe and healthy. I announced to my closest family members the date and time I go in for my c-section and got some negative comments due to it being my cousins sons 1st birthday on that day. I explained it was the day the dr had no other things scheduled and could tend to me and my babies and they keep asking me to change to a different day. I’m just a little upset at their reactions. I don’t mean to take the spotlight off her son, I just want what’s best for mine as well.

I am still super excited, just wish my cousins were too.
