How to tell your friend who has experienced a miscarriage

My best friend of 20+ years and I started ttc at the same time. She and her husband had fertility testing and were told they would have to do iui or ivf if they wanted to carry. Their first round of iui worked, but at her first ultrasound there was no heartbeat. Since then they have continued to try naturally with supplements but ultimately they will have to do another treatment.

This was all last summer (2018). Fast forward to August 2019, my husband and I got our positive. I'll be 12 weeks this upcoming Tuesday and we will have our first ultrasound. We have not told our friends yet but I obviously want to tell her before social media. I just don't know how. I don't think she will be angry, but I'm sure it will hurt (it always hurt a little to see a pregnancy announcement when we had been trying without success).
