Help! 😖

I feel like I’m really struggling right now with breastfeeding. When my son was born he was taken to the NICU after 2.5-3 hours of life and I never really got to nurse him. I began pumping regularly every 3 hours and built up a great supply, and it was a little TOO much. Once we got home, after he was a week old, I pumped for about a week and was bottle feeding but then I decided I’d rather just nurse. In the beginning I had a ridiculous oversupply and after he would eat, I would fill up right away when I decided to stop pumping. Now he is 3 weeks old and I feel like I don’t have enough to nurse him exclusively. He eats all the time and sometimes he seems like he gets enough and other times he cries until I give him a bottle. I still have a lot of breast milk saved and frozen from when I was pumping but I don’t know what to do anymore.

Also, I feel so uncomfortable sometimes when nursing. It’s not when he’s eating, I think I only get the discomfort when he’s sucking but not drinking. Should I just suck it up and keep going and try to get my supply back? Should I pump after he eats?
