What should I do?!

I need advice! 
None of you know me so I need honesty opinions. 
Ok, I have a huge crush on this guy. We both are first responders, he’s a cop and I’m an EMT, so we usually see each on the streets pretty often. We have been friends for a few months now and for the last month we have been messaging each other everyday. Even though it’s just friendly conversations sometimes I feel like we flirt with each other. He is a great guy, I like him and I want to take it to the next level without feeling rejected. We both are 28, single and no kids and I don’t want to mess this up because we are great friends. I was thinking we could go out with mutual friends and I tell him but I wouldn’t know what to say. Some of my friends told me to just tell him. Others said that if he wanted me to he would tell me. I’m just tired of waiting. Lol

Clicked the wrong one. I accidentally clicked let him make the first move, when I meant to click take him out first.
Going out as just friends first will give you guys the opportunity to see if you actually have any chemistry or if you’re even actually interested in pursuing anything before you say anything and potentially mess up a good working friend relationship.
When I was first interested in my husband, I invited him and his siblings to go bowling with me and my siblings and phrased it as time to hang out all together not a date. That time though proved that we did have chemistry and that I was interested in pursuing it. He ended up asking me out on a date two days later. Sometimes things need a little push.

Just ask if he wants to grab a beer/dinner sometime or watch a game or something. Then take it from there. If he’s interested, I feel like you’ll know after you casually hang out. I wouldn’t go out with friends, this could cause confusion and friend zone vibes

I’m old-fashion, I’d wait for him to initiate or show more interest, something more than you “feeling” like you’re flirting with each other. 
I’m sure others will tell you to just initiate, which is totally fine and happening all the time. 
It comes down to self-preference lol If you want to wait, or just go for it! lol

Just ask him if he wants to hangout outside of work sometime? Or if he wants to keep it work friendly? That gives him the hint that you’d like to date him without it being awkward or putting him on the spot. He might have certain ideas about dating people in similar fields. You guys might not even like each other outside of work.

I just think if a guy was interested and you see or text/talk daily, he’d have let you know by now.
