Anyone have tips for baby with reflux, GERD?

Question

My sweet baby boy has reflux which is causing him to be so uncomfortable, in pain.
I’m open to any advice 
(Yes we’ve been to his doctor, we were advised to feed him smaller meals; burp after every feeding, keep him upright for 30 minutes after eating)
I’m open to any suggestions to help my baby feel better.

Our Dr put our little one on meds due to acid reflux. It’s the children’s version of Zantac. He was constantly crying and arching his back and we could just not settle him down.  He also was not gaining weight like the doctors were wanting him too. We were also having to use receiving blankets for burp clothes and he would still almost those after a feeding from spitting up so much. 
We just started the meds on Friday and it takes about a week to start working. We have noticed small changes. 
Maybe talk to your Dr about medicine if that is something you are comfortable with.

My second baby had this, it wasn’t fun. He was put on an anti acid, so I’d definitely ask your doctor about that. Also sleeping on his back or flat was a total no go. He slept on my chest during the day, and on his side with his bed inclined for months.

I’m not sure if you’re baby is formula fed or not, but ours is & we weren’t sure if my baby had gastric reflux or not, but she would spit up often even after being burped & held upright for 30 mins. after feedings. So, the Dr. suggested switching to Similac Pro-Sensitive formula and it has worked wonderfully for her! Also, even after being burped & held upright, I put her down in the reclined chair that came with our Graco playpen!

Infant probiotic - Klaire labs is the best. I bought Mommy’s Bliss brand for now and will switch to Klaire labs brand next.
Takes about a week I read and found improvement around that time.
I also got gas drops which help. 
He doesn’t have it bad, but it was enough for him to be very uncomfortable after feeds and would keep him restless and not sleeping well.
I hold him upright after feeds too.
