We Beat Infertility!

Chelsey • We beat infertility! Valkyrie Ember 6/9/20🎀

I'm still hesitant because it's just a stick.

My husband and I have been struggling since June of 2015.

We were diagnosed with unexplained infertility after all fertility tests came back normal. My 2 biggest concerns: thyroid and moms endo, doctors were not a concern to them, so we didnt pursue any additional testing until this past year when I got fed up. I got referred to a fertility clinic and brought up these things. Sure enough, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in August 2018, but they also didnt think I had Endo so they suggested I do 5 medicated iuis, and then if they failed, consider looking into laproscopy. So, I endured absolutely painful and long iuis, one that I think was botched due to being prescribed an abortion pill prior (wtf!). We were so hopeful but they failed. Finally, they gave me a referral to a surgeon, and I had a laproscopy. Endometriosis, polyps and fibroids were excised in August 2019. We got cleared to try this month, but I was terrified it would damage something internally or be too painful. I cried because I thought I messed up and missed ovulation, but September 17th I got a positive opk. We just treated it as practice to ease my fears. Since then, hubby got sent to California for the past week so I went with him because it was during our 6th wedding anniversary. Just before I had to leave, I asked him if we could go sit on Pebble Beach where I nervously showed him my positive tests.

Now, I'm home alone, supposedly pregnant and losing my mind. I feel like the dull pain of af is coming on and a little spotting, but nothing else that's on those symptoms list that I've been looking out for for 4.5 years.Took this one today at 14dpo. It's not getting any darker, but my posts keep getting deleted off the faint line forum so I guess Glow is saying "its positive, move on" lol.

It just doesnt seem real. I didnt think it was possible, but I also feel guilty because, we were not really trying this month.
