Called the cops

About 30 minutes ago I was sitting on my couch at 1:30am watching a movie in pitch black darkness. My rescue pup who I’m fostering perked her head up, jumped off the couch and started growling at the door. I looked out the peephole and saw someone standing near my husbands truck looking through the window. I opened the door as fast as I could and yelled with my dog barking like crazy in the background and he ran off into the street!!!! About two minutes later he came back over to the truck and broke the window. I immediately called the MPs and there were five guys that showed up. Two of them came into the house and took a statement. While the other three were driving around trying to find someone who fit the description. They said they’re going to be looking every hour until the morning just in case the dude is still around.

My husband is at the border right now and with no one home, I’m freaked out beyond belief. I don’t want to sleep. I’m up in my room with my dog just sitting on my phone now. Scared out of my mind. I called my husband and he wants to come home so bad because he’s so worried about me 😖. I officially hate being home here alone.
