Anyone have chronic constipation?

I have chronic constipation? I am constantly in pain. Sharp right sided abdominal gas pains and cramps! I can’t seem to get it under control. I had a colonoscopy and everything looked normal, the doctor just told me to increase my fibre but that doesn’t seem to help! Anyone else have this issue? Any recommendations?

I had it as a child, saw specialists. As an adult of 35 ( dang i feel old), i have found the following things help, Fiber One cookies (2 a day), lots of water, increased green vegetables, and a ‘poo’ routine (going after morning coffee), regular exercise, and NEVER ignoring the urge ‘to go.’

I have constipation issues as well but I take two magnesium if I ever get constipated. It kicks in the next morning so I recommend taking it before bed. Don’t have any plans in the morning since you’ll have to need to go multiple times. I hope this might help!
