NFP advice for newlyweds please

Hi all!

I recently got married and my husband started a new job too. We would like to try to hold off for a year before having kids, for his job stability sake. My job is quite stable, but we plan for me to stay at home to raise our family and homeschool, so I’ll be quitting that job after I give birth. (Kinda bittersweet, but I’m so excited too!)

(For religious and personal reasons, birth control and condoms are not an option for us.)

Being new to NFP, any advice from “seasoned professionals” would be so welcome!! Please and thank you! We’ve already found that organization, patience, and communication are VITAL! Haha

(Also, yes, we are well aware that the entire point of NFP is being open to life, if it still “finds a way”😂 We are stable enough to have a baby now, it’s just not opportune. And I do have a work-from-home job lined up too.)
