What are you wearing during labor and birth?

I dont really want to be in a hospital gown. Anyone find something they liked? I was considering just a sports bra figuring that a gown or dress would just be too much material but would love to hear what other people were planning.

The hospital gown. Not wasting a penny on something that is going to get covered in nastiness. It’s not a fashion show. Gonna bring some cute/comfy robes and/or pjs for after I’m all cleaned up.

My hospital actually requires you wear it for liability reasons. 
I just change and shower ASAP after into my own pajamas. I really wouldn’t waste money on a one time gown that definitely will be ruined. I’d buy a nice pajama/robe set for after that you can wear multiple times.

Probably a comfy nursing bra and hospital gown. My sister has been obsessed with Pinterest and sending me pics of these cute matching robes/baby swaddles so I’ve been wanting one- but only for after the delivery.

I bought a cute labor gown off Etsy ($30) that has snaps in all the places they would need to access (shoulders, back, etc.) it also doubles as a nursing nightgown after birth. It’s sooo comfy I’ve already worn it as pajamas! And I plan to have a water birth so I have a modest but comfortable cotton nursing bralette to wear while I’m in the water, just to be covered up on top a little since both my parents will be in the room.

With my first i started out in a hospital gown, nursing bra, and those beautiful mesh underwear things, I ended up naked, and I couldn’t care less after 28hours. So I’ll go for the same this time, and change after baby is born to something more picture friendly.

I like having a tank top with maybe a bra under and sweats/shorts. And when it’s time to push off comes the bottoms.
