Is it reasonable to consider not doing a clean shave on your lady parts before delivery?

FTM wondering if it's acceptable to clean up down there but not do a complete shave?  Only do completely clean shaves in summer times (before being massively pregnant)... please don't be rude..💜

Do what ever feels comfortable. They don't give a fuck what your lady bits look like, your 100% likely to poop while pushing. Theres blood and fluid everywhere.  Hair is the least of their concerns.  If you require stitches or a csection they'll  trim you up.

I wasn’t clean shaven- I was lucky to be able to trim because belly was in the way. You’re pushing a baby out of your vagina, the last thing I cared about was if I had hair down there.

My midwives don't recommend clean shaven after 36 weeks. Hey say if you want to then trim but don't go clean shaven as it increases the risk of infection. Not sure of that though, it's just what they say

They don’t care how you look down their trust me, I shaved and had my husband help during pregnancy because I just always felt so itchy letting hair grow out down there. I had my husband shave me before we left the hospital just because I didn’t want to have to worry about a massive bush during healing time

Do what feels best for you. They docs see vaginas all day, they aren’t concerned with whether you got a fresh wax/ shave or not

Personally I couldn’t get into a comfortable enough position to shave that far along. So I just let it go. But I promise you they don’t care what your hair situation is there’s too much else going on.

I would not shave because hair growing back and wearing pads would be super annoying. Ive had 4 babies and I don't shave before labor. My husband was teasing me and I rold him to shut up and didn't do it🤷‍♀️
