How to help with constipation?

My 6 month old is having trouble with constipation and tummy pain. She’s extremely irritable and cranky which she never is. I want my happy baby back. 😩 she’s exclusively breastfed.

My son has this problem time to time. A little bit of 100% apple juice works every time. 2 oz gets him going in about 20 minutes

You could give her some baby food prunes. I will warn you it could lead to a mess. We had poop in her armpit the other day.

I stopped giving my son baby cereal and bananas and only give him Veg and fruits. It helped him poop much better. Steamed sweet potato, apple, pear, peas, carrots, green beans etc.

You can do a little prune juice and water. My MD said 2oz of water with 2 tablespoons of prune juice. It works well for my baby
