Surprise Shower

This whole week I’ve been under the impression that I was responsible for bringing someone to their “surprise birthday party” but in reality, my in laws threw me a BEAUTIFUL surprise baby shower 😭😭 They planned every last detail from my hair & makeup down to my dress! This shower meant the absolute world to me because my child’s father was incarcerated about 3 weeks ago and I’ve been really struggling with the reality that he won’t be here to see our little girl be born. I’ve spent so many of these past few night crying and wondering how on earth I was going to be able to do this as a single mother but knowing that my daughter has such an amazing family on BOTH sides has given me so much comfort and strength. I have never felt more beautiful & loved and this was truly a day that I will truly never forget.
