My baby was born at 34 weeks

My name is Eliany and I am 24 years old

Been married for almost two years and had our baby boy on September 14th, he was born at 34 weeks due to severe Preeclampsia, vaginal birth.

He is still in the NICU, it’s been 22 days and he has been having bradycardia every single day, multiple times.. he still needs to be stimulated and that’s the only thing that’s keeping him there.

He latched on the very first time I put him to breastfeed and he does amazing, he’s currently eating 45ml in every feed and weighing close to 5lbs. He’s a strong boy.

I’m definitely getting more impatient and disheartened because he’s 37+2 and I thought he would’ve outgrown the brady by now.. but it’s all just a waiting game.

I love this baby like I never knew possible, and my husband who has been my support system and always by my side no matter what.
