Pain and spotting after fetal fibronectin

I was so taken aback at the pain during this test. I was told it was just a swab.

I’ve had painless paps, two swabs to test for amniotic fluid, two yeast infection swabs and even a full on cervical check and no pain or spotting.

This lady I think went IN my cervix and from my understanding was supposed to swab around cervix?

Anyone else have this done? What was your experience? I cant find anything on google saying it’s Normal. The spotting is very minimal so I’m just monitoring. If it gets worse I’ll call doctor
