Help me decide on bottles!
I plan to breastfeed as long as I can, but we will need to use bottles for when I'm working anyway. I kept the Lansinoh bottles I used with our first (threw away the nipples though), so I have those as an option. I liked Lanisnoh because the nipples never dropped and worked by peristalsis- basically she had to use the same motion to get milk that she did with nursing. That said she was a fussy and gassy baby. Not sure if that was due to us having to switch to formula after 6 weeks or what. She ended up needing to be on gentlease.
So. This time around I considered Dr. Brown's glass bottles, but there are SO MANY PARTS and we don't have a dishwasher. Plus we have cats who are assholes that steal small dish pieces and play with and chew on them. The Lansinoh nipples are compatible with the wide neck glass Dr. Dr. Brown's bottles though, so it COULD be great. I guess I'm not totally set on glass, but I do l like the idea of baby not drinking out of plastic. Avent makes nice glass bottles that are also compatible with Lansinoh nipples...
Bottom line, I can't decide. What have you used or what do you plan to do this time around? If I do buy a set of bottles, I think I'd rather spring for glass just because otherwise I could use the plastic ones I already have.
