Help! Placenta Previa? Has anyone experienced this?

So I went in for my ultrasound today and I was told I have placenta previa which means means my placenta is a little lower. Has anyone experienced this? I haven’t been bleeding at all. Can you tell me your experience? My doctor said I might have a c section a little before my due date.

I have it too. My doctor told me about it after my 20 week scan. I have no bleeding and I hope it stays that way I’ll be 22 weeks this Thursday. Hoping to make it to at least 35-36 weeks!! Fingers crossed for no c section! It made me really nervous to hear especially since they refer to it as a “pregnancy complication” but it’s good to read that it may very well resolve itself!

Im 23 weeks. My last appointment they told me my placenta was a little low but didn't call it placenta previa. In two months they're checking to see if it moves up. I have a posterior placenta.

I was diagnosed with it around 15 weeks, and had some spotting from doing too much activity. It moved away at my last ultrasound which was 21 weeks

I had a partial placenta previa with my first. But generally, since as the uterus grows it moves the placenta up, it ends up far enough away from the cervix to not be a problem.  Mine moved and all was well.
Dont know if I have it this time yet, my anatomy scan is hopefully next week.

99% of the time it grows up with your uterus. Mine didn’t however and I bled at 32+6 and two more times after that resulting in a csection.

I have it too. Just another thing you are totally unaware is a possibility until mid pregnancy! Who knew there were so many things!!

Me too. Apparently early on it seems common, but the closer to term you get the rarer the chance becomes. I’m scheduled for a follow up ultrasound at 28 weeks to see if it’s moved away from the cervix. My midwife was not concerned at all and told me there’s nothing to worry about at this point as long as I’m not bleeding.

I have it too. Just found out at 20 weeks. I haven’t had any bleeding either. My dr said 90% of cases move up by term. Im getting re checked at 28 weeks. Good luck mama.

I have one too. My nurse-Midwife said they almost always move away from the cervix. Only 1% of people still have it at term. They are going to recheck mine at 30 weeks.
