What could that mean?

Question

So we went to our 13 weeks prenatal appointment today. Doctor checked baby’s heartbeat with Doppler and we heard. It was wonderful. 150 hpm. Then the doctor started referring to baby as her. I was like what? I didn’t ask anything, but then she said she would refer the baby as a her until we knew the gender in about 5-6 weeks. Why would she refer to the baby is a her? Could she know something? I know it’s to early.

My husband keeps referring to it as her/she. My doctor thought we had already found out when he asked questions about “her.” He said we didn’t know and that he just thinks of the baby as a part of me right now and I’m a her/she and it’s sounds nicer than referring to the baby as “it.” The doctor agreed and started referring to the baby as “she/her” as well. I keep referring to it as “he/him” because i think of it as part of my husband. Lol. Calling the baby “it” just sounds weird and I keep thinking of pennywise the clown just floating around in my uterus

I think a lot of people just choose one pronoun or the other so they aren’t saying “it”
I have 2 boys and 2 male dogs, so I pretty much call any baby or dog “he” by default until I know otherwise.

All my Drs and all the ultrasound tech we had say I try to switch back and forth, but if I don’t, it’s not because I know. 
So no. Dr doesn’t know, as stated above usually they choose because people get offended by it, or thing, or whatever.
