When is it safe to fly

How late into pregnancy do your OB’s safe is safe to fly? Mine said no to 34 weeks, she generally feels I shouldn’t fly after 30 weeks but have a vacation where I’d need to fly at 31&32 weeks...thoughts?

i flew at 31-32 weeks and i can understand why they don’t want you too. i was so uncomfortable the whole time. needless to say, we are completely fine. but i’d double check with your doctor.

I flew 31-almost 34 weeks. As long as your pregnancy hasn’t had any complications and you are not high risk, you can technically fly until 35 or 36. Get a doctors note just in case the airline asks but I looked small so no one stopped me. And I ordered a memory foam butt cushion which made all the difference because your tailbone will pay after a few hours.

Some doctors have different preferences. Keep in mind, a lot of airlines will require a doctors note to travel in the third trimester. If your doctor says no, you might have to comply. I’d double check to make sure you can get the note.

I’m flying at 27 and 31 weeks. But will need a letter from hospital for the airline. Going from Oz back to Uk for Xmas so if doctors don’t like it, tough. I’m going. I just think the flight will be uncomfortable 😣
