Vent sesh

Di

Ladies, I need to vent. My husband washed towels on Monday. They sat in the dryer til I brought them up tonight. He works til 3, picks up our daughter and they have one on one time til I get home at 520. He had dinner ready, we ate, then hung out/played with our girl. It was his turn for bath night so after he washed her and handed her over to me to dry, diaper up, dress and nurse, I said "how bout you fold these towels while I get her ready for bed?" He got so frustrated with me and says "I just never get a break!" The two hours he spend with our daughter after work, I make up for every morning and evening when I'm getting her ready, food prep and breastfeeding. He has from 730pm til bed to do what he wants. I typically do the dishes but can usually relax a bit, too but not til 815. I knew the towels would sit there for days so I asked him to do it. I feel like we mutually respect each other but sometimes I don't think we consider everything we do individually for the greater good of the family. Am I alone? Ugh. I just hate fighting with him and I feel like sometimes I can't be honest with how I feel about the mess that is our house. #lifewithatoddler #parentingishard #marriagetoo
