Tenderness under incision

Kim

I am 6 weeks postpartum from my second c-section. I healed extremely well, all the nurses said I got around better than most moms they see who delivered vaginally. I never wore a belly band and had no issues and my stomach shrunk very nicely. However, I’ve been noticing quite a bit of tenderness and soreness internally the last couple days. Like it hurts to apply a little bit of pressure to the area. The incision itself is completely healed and still numb, it’s just the internal part slightly above the incision that hurts. Any suggestions? Should I try wearing the belly band my doctor gave me? Is this normal tenderness that will go away? I didn’t really have it a couple weeks ago, I just started noticing it this week. I also didn’t have this kind of pain this long after with my first so it’s throwing me off.
