Which due date do I go by?

So the first ultrasound I had done I was 6 weeks and I was told based on the gestational sac I was measuring 6 weeks (couldn't see baby yet) I had another ultrasound a little over two weeks later and the baby was measuring 8 weeks 2 days so 2 days later then the first ultrasound. So which due date do I go by April 29th or may 1st?

I’ve measured 7-10 days a head at all my ultrasounds (7, 9 and 12 weeks) and they won’t change my due date from what the first ultrasound (5 weeks) showed. If I’m still measuring a head at 20 weeks then they will consider bumping it up. Which would be awesome cause then I’d be due on my birthday.

It doesnt matter, only 4% of babies are born on the EDD. The baby can come any time 3 weeks before or 1 week after🥰

They’re not gonna change due date bc you’re measuring a couple days ahead. You can measure off up to 5 days either way before they’ll even think about changing due date. Your original due date based on your last period stands.

2 days really doesn't matter because the ultrasound itself can be off by a couple of days. And it can fluctuate. So some ultrasounds you can be behind a couple of days, then next ultrasound you can be ahead 2 days, then 3rd ultrasound right on time. That's why they'll still go by your LMP due date unless there's a consistent discrepancy by several days (usually a week or more) because the plus or minus couple of days means nothing

My dr goes by first day of my last period, nothing’s changed since having multiple ultrasounds and baby’s always measuring a day or two ahead/behind 🤷🏻‍♀️

It’s two days off. Most babies don’t come on their due dates anyways...lol. I understand if it was a huge difference such as 2 weeks which is how it is for me but two days? It’s nothing.

I’d guess dr is gonna go by May 1st? Go with whatever dr goes by
