Delayed IUI

I took clomid day 2 to 6. Ultrasound sound day 9 follicles (19,19,15) and triggered that night. But was scheduled for

IUI

37hrs later. I informed staff of this ahead of time and they said it should not be an issue. But to my understanding its suppose to be between 24-36hrs later. Sample was collected at site 35.5hr later. To complicate things more several attempts had to be made for procedure and couldn't be completed until 38hrs post trigger. And we couldn't baby dance that night or next day because I couldn't fight through the pain and discomfort i was in.

Has anyone had a similar experience and success? Any thoughts
