Anyone have a cerclage done before?

Hello Moms! 
We had twin girls born at 25 weeks gestation 7 years ago now.. I was told the reason they came early was because I had an incompetent cervix. We are now ttc again but the docs told me I would need a cerclage for my next pregnancy. So, I'm just hoping to hear some stories from those who have gone through this already!

I have one now I’m about to get it out Tuesday I believe it’s the only reason I’m still pregnant! It has been a blessing. My first baby came at 30 weeks and my second came at 26 weeks (he was to early) all due to a weak cervix thankfully they had the cerclage put in for me on this pregnancy because I’ve been having contractions since I was 30 weeks but the cerclage prevents my cervix from opening so now I have a full term baby
